Eco-tourism

As part of the "Roof of the World", the Chinese western province of Qinghai is well-known for its unique wildlife; moderate climate; warm and kindhearted people; its profound multi-ethnical cultural heritage and above all, its pristine nature and fascinating landscape.

The landscape of Qinghai is characterized by mountains which extend 5,000 meters above sea levels and it’s the source of three of China's most famous rivers, the Yangzi River, the Yellow River and the Mekong River (Lancang River).  Qinghai's history is long and rich in different ethnicities and cultures. Many Tibetan Buddhist pagodas and Muslim mosques are scattered around the province.

The Silk Road ran through Qinghai Province and gives modern man an insight as to how cultures from east and west have co-mingled over many years.  This sharing of ideas and customs has led to many unique and wonderful arts, sciences and religious beliefs which are well worth the traveler's time to explore.

The Qinghai-Tibetan Railway, the highest and longest plateau railway in the world, now winds its way across this giant province, through magnificent landscapes containing a multitude of rivers, lakes and wildlife, as well as nomadic peoples with their individual cultures and customs.

Enhancing Local Green Industries

Enhancing the international competitiveness of the regional industry cluster of lithium-ion batteries; strengthening the collaborative network of local enterprise through active academic and technological exchange with national and international companies of the same industry sector.

The Qaidam Basin of Qinghai province counts a total of 33 saline lakes in which 3.3 million tones of lithium have been quoted; making it the province with the largest lithium reserves in whole China.

Due to the region’s abundance of lithium carbonate and favorable investment incentives, the Electric Vehicles and Industrial Battery Park within the Qinghai High-tech Industrial Development Zone is about to become the largest Chinese Industry Cluster of Li-Ion Batteries.

By the time the Electric Vehicles and Industrial Battery Park is completed, the total output can potentially reach 447 billion RMB.
