High tourist season: flight ticket reservations and high-class accommodation bookings

  • The 2015 CEVR will be hosted at a time, in which the magnificent scenery of Qinghai province shows its best side. Consequently, tourism is booming and many spectators will be faced with difficulties in the course of making flight tickets and accommodation bookings. However, thanks to the generous support of the regional government, we are able to guarantee seats in all the three flight classes (economy, business, and first class). The same applies to a wide range of local accommodations of different categories.

  • Tickets holders will be among the few lucky ones who will be able to join the EV Street Parade to Ta’er (Kumbum) Monastery. A traditional Buddhist Blessing Ceremony will be held by more than 10 highly respected “Lamas”, masters of Tibetan Buddhism (Lamaism).

  • In comparison to the 2014 CER, the 2015 CEVR will be taken onto an all-new level. Thus,the route will be twice as long as in the previous year and spectators will have the opportunity to visit famous tourist sites such as the Qinghai Lake, the Island of Birds, the Menyuan Canola Flower Scenic Spot and the highly praised Qilian Mountains.

 

  • Same as in 2014, the 2015 CEVR EV Stunt Show and the EV Performance Evaluation Challenges will be held on the City Square of Xining. However, this time spectators may anticipate much more ambitious and difficult challenges. In addition to that, the spectacle will be accompanied by life music.

 

  • By launching the “2015 CEVR Professional Rally Circuit on the East Lake Road”, spectators will not only be able to witness how competitive an electric vehicle can perform under even the most exceptional conditions, but also will be able to see how vital the driving skills of the individuals behind the driving wheels are.

 

  • In tribute to the very first “Qinghai Lake EV 2014, China”, the “China National Symphony Orchestra” in collaboration with the famous Chinese singer Fujia Cao, the young female soprano Qingshuang Wang, the pianist and composer Xiaoqiu Xue and the highly recognized Chinese operatic tenor singer Warren Mok presented a one of its kind ensemble of classical music.In 2015 the spectators of the 2015 Evening Gala & Awards Ceremony can look forward to another impressive line-up of international and national music artists. Ticket holders will be privileged to VIP or premium concert seats to fully enjoy the classical "feast for the ears".

 

  • In addition to that, ticket holders will have the possbility to chill out and liberate their souls at the first “Sound-Trek”- Music Festival which will be held on the vast grasslands of the Qilian Mountains.
     

 

Individual EV test-driving opportunities during the 2015 CEVR Relay Race around Qinghai Lake

  • Ticket holders will be able to follow the EV Relay Race around Qinghai Lake as guests in our electric bus. Additionally, premium ticket holders who want to drive by themselves will be provided with an own electric vehicle.  
     
  • Besides that, spectators may take advantage of EV test-driving opportunities which will be provided throughout the event.

 

Real-life interactions with superstars and car race champions

  • Ticket holders of a category A ticket will be able to exclusively join one of more than ten celebrities on the front passenger seat during one section of the relay race. As guests of honors at the 2015 CEVR we expect celebrities such as the celebrated movie director Jizhong Zhang, the billiard-champion Xiaoting Pan, the movie actor Jingsheng Zang and many more. At the same time, possibilities for photo shootings and private autograph sessions can be arranged.   
     
  • Holders of a category A ticket who are longing for a special jolt of adrenaline will get the unique opportunity to join one of the 10 professional car race drivers of the 2014 CER on the front passenger seat for a thrilling private EV stunt ride. Subject to this thrilling private EV ride are challenges like drifting, burning tires, a drive through the desert etc. .

  • All ticket holders will be entitled to participate in the 2015 CEVR lottery. The lucky winner of the 2015 CEVR jackpot will be able to use an EV model for one year free of charge.
     
  • All 2015 CEVR ticket holders who decide to purchase an EV model will benefit from special discounts granted by individual EV manufacturers. The discount rates will depend upon the ticket category.
